EPDM rubber is a copolymer of ethylene, propylene and a small amount of third monomers of non conjugated dienes. The international name is Ethyiene Propyene Diene Methyiene for short EPDM. It has excellent anti ultraviolet effect, weather resistance, heat-resistant aging, low temperature resistance, ozone resistance, chemical medium resistance, water resistance, good electrical insulation and elasticity, and other physical and mechanical properties.
And these advantages are irreplaceable by PVC and other materials.
1, three ethylene propylene has excellent weather resistance, weather resistance refers to the long-term resistance to cold, hot, dry, wet ability, the erosion of rain and snow has excellent corrosion resistance, can completely prolong the life of the adhesive strip.
2, heat aging refers to strong heat resistance of air aging. It can also maintain effective physical properties over a long period of time at 140-150 degrees centigrade.
When the urban buildings are unexpected, they can play the role of delay; with the use of special formula, the three ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) has close sense of hand feeling at -50 C to 150 C, which creates high efficiency work performance for the production site installation.
3, since EPR has excellent ozone resistance, it is also known as "crackless rubber". It is especially used in various urban buildings with different atmospheric index and completely exposed to air. It will show the superiority of its products.
4, anti ultraviolet radiation for high-rise building residents to provide protection of the environment; can withstand 60~150KV voltage, corona resistance, resistance to electric cracking, arc resistance, is also very good. Low temperature elasticity, the tensile capacity reaches 100MPa when the temperature is -58.8 C.
5. Because of its excellent physical and mechanical properties, it is often used in the manufacture of aircraft, cars, trains, buses, ships, high and low voltage switchgear, glass curtain walls, sealing parts and submersible products of aluminum alloy breaking windows.
